My Quest for Rubber Perfection...

That first sexual experience in rubber was just the beginning of a quest.  From 1968 until 1990, I cannot count how many chest waders, how many wetsuits, how many rubberized rainsuits and how many pairs of gloves I bought.

I had plenty of rubberized masturbation sessions.  Once the guilt first felt made me destroy the first pair of waders, only to buy new ones within a week!  I would buy a wetsuit and wear it out using it for my pleasure.  Soon I would get a new wetsuit.

Reversible rainsuits were a find, put on one, rubber side to the skin, a wetsuit and a second rain jacket, rubber side out along with my chest waders.  This layering of gear created a tight and almost claustrophobic condition but the being sealed and isolated in rubber layers was such a complete surrender and turn on.

In 1979, I married.  I learned to keep my rubber love secret and compartmented.  I didn't need rubber for sex but I always loved it that little bit more when I had the chance.  The wife didn't know and I could not figure a way to introduce my rubber to her.  I lived with the secret for many years.  When she did discover my gear, she didn't understand.  I promised to only use it when I went on travel, something my job required often.  She didn't really understand the hold rubber had on me but I think she found comfort in the fact I was faithful to her and had no worries of me wandering to another woman.

I discovered the Seal-dri latex stocking foot wader in 1982.  I think I bought five of these amazing rubber waders over the span of six years.  They came as close as any rubber garment to the perfect rubber enclosure I found up until discovering Rubberist Magazine and Slimwear of America.

SOA wasn't exactly the best manufacturer of latex but it was fairly reasonable and they delivered MTM suits in five weeks or off the shelf items in five days or less.  I bought five catsuits from them over the years, sleep sack, hoods, gloves, tee shirts, briefs and more. I also contacted a UK firm, Detainer, and had a Made to Measure wader suit made.  It had shoulder entry and after sealing the crotch zip, it was waterproof to my upper chest.

On two occasions, I waded in the Puget Sound while staying at a shore side hotel.  These excursion were nocturnal and I always had to watch for people walking along the shore when I was crossing to the rocky beach or back to my room.  In Europe, I may have had a warmer reception from folks but I was never sure in the US.  That wader suit got extensive use over the years, usually the third or fourth layer of catsuits with a military rainsuit over for protection of the latex and some disguise from other people.  The rainsuit looked more normal on a light rainy evening.

I always packed two suitcases for travel in the days before 9/11, one with my latex and one with my other clothes.  Sometimes I was out for weeks and rubber kept me content when off duty.

This is photo of me relaxing in Alaska after a hard day of disaster duty in 1996.

I wore glasses in those days, Just another lazy rest day in Alaska and sealed in multiple rubber layers.

My wife's understanding of my "hobby" is instrumental in our life together.  She understands I had rubber before I had her and neither replaces the other but the two loves are an essential part of my being.

Getting a Little Sunshine

Sitting indoors can be boring but when in Texas, getting out publicly in total enclosing rubber can be a challenge and maybe not the best id...
